Salary package the cost of your permanent monthly car park at selected UPark locations. The opening hours below are the standard opening hours, having a permanent car park extends 24 hour, 7 day a week access.
How does it work?
To be eligible for this benefit, the car park chosen must be within 1 kilometre of your workplace.

FBT rates will be updated in April 2026 when the new rates for 2026-27 FBT year.
Things you need to know:
- Your parking space must be allocated to you by UPark.
- Casual (day‑to‑day) parking cannot be salary packaged.
- Car parking attracts concessional FBT, based on the lowest all day parking rate within 1 kilometre radius of where you park.
- It is assumed that you only park 228 days a year, even if you park every day.
- FBT will be pro-rated if you begin packaging throughout the FBT year.
- You’ll complete an annual FBT declaration to let us know if you use the car park less than 5 days per week to calculate any FBT refund owed to you.
How to start packaging car parking:
- Log in to your Smart account
- Download and complete the Car Parking form from the Forms section
- Return to the Landing Page and select Upload your forms and documents.
- Drag and drop the completed form and click Submit Documents.

- Click Apply now and follow the instructions to create an account.
- Once your account is created, you can follow the steps above.

We sort out the rest. We’ll deduct the amount to cover your car parking and FBT from your pre-tax salary each pay period.
We will arrange for the parking cost to be transferred to UPark and the amount deducted for FBT is paid to your employer.
We’ll also email you the QR code for 24 hour access to your chosen car park.
