Through the SA Government Workplace Giving Program, you can support the causes that matter to you by contributing to one of 12 charitable organisations.

Your donations are made automatically from your pre-tax salary — making it a simple, tax-effective way to help communities in need.

Workplace Giving is completely optional, flexible, and designed to fit your personal values and financial preferences.

How does it work?

  • Choose your charity: Select one (or more) of the 12 approved charities you'd like to support. Each charity has a strong track record of supporting South Australians, Australians, or global communities in need.
  • Decide how much you'd like to give: Nominate the amount you want deducted from each pay. Every contribution, big or small, makes an impact. Unsure about your pay type? Learn more here.
  • Automatic payroll deductions: Your chosen donation amount is deducted directly from your pre-tax pay. This means you may receive an immediate tax benefit without the need to claim the deduction at tax time.
  • Change or stop at any time: You have full control over your donations. You can adjust the amount, switch charities, or opt out at any time through your payroll office.
