Change is coming
The way you log in to your Smart account is changing. On 30 August, we're introducing multi-factor authentication as part of the log in process, and you’ll need to set up your digital identity. This will help to keep your details secure and protected.

Set up your digital identity
From 30 August, you’ll be asked to create a unique password as part of your digital identity, which must be at least 8 characters and a mix of upper and lower case letters and numbers. This could only take a couple of minutes.
Easy and simple

Enhanced Security
After this change is introduced, you'll need to enter your email address, password and the one-time PIN sent to your mobile, each time you log in to your Smart account.
Your new password
- Must be at least 8 characters and no more than 64 characters.
- Must have at least 3 of the following - upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers and special characters.
- Cannot use sequential and repetitive characters (e.g. 12345 or aaaaaa), and commonly used words / phrases.
- Must avoid personal details like first name, last name, DOB, street address etc.
When you change your password, you will not be allowed to use your previous 5 passwords.
