The Smart™ Salary Packaging and Meal Entertainment Mastercard makes it super simple to salary package meal entertainment and/or everyday living expenses.
One convenient card can be used for both benefits.¹ You can pay for things as you go and never be out of pocket, as your card is pre-loaded with salary packaging funds from your pre-tax income.
Just decide the amount you want added to your card each pay, and this will be deducted from your pre-tax salary. Once the funds are added you can use your card wherever Mastercard is accepted.
If you're packaging both everyday living expenses and meal entertainment, you don’t have to select different accounts to make sure the right funds from your card balance are used. This happens automatically (it’s triggered by merchant and transaction details).
If you’re not already a Smart customer, you will need to apply for salary packaging and a Smart Salary Packaging and Meal Entertainment Mastercard.
If you're already packaging, make sure you're logged in to your online account, then select 'Add benefit' and follow the prompts.

If you have an Android phone it’s easy to add your card to Google Pay. Once you’ve completed the set-up process, you can use Google Pay wherever contactless payments are available, or where the Google Pay logo appears online.
