How the card works
You can choose the amount you would like added to your card each pay, within your $9,010 or $15,900 FBT cap.
Eligible packaged amounts are deducted from your salary according to your employer’s salary packaging policy and the benefit type. Funds must be loaded before the card can be used.
Your card has separate balances for Living Expenses and Meal Entertainment. When you make a purchase, the merchant category code determines which balance is used. Meal Entertainment benefits apply only to eligible dining transactions.
How to get your card
If you’re not already a Smart customer, you will need to apply for salary packaging and a Smart Salary Packaging and Meal Entertainment Mastercard.
If you're already packaging, make sure you're logged in to your online account, then select 'Add benefit' and follow the prompts.
